spring ’13 Ottawa vintage show recap
We felt a bit spoiled this past weekend, as we bounced from brunches to hangouts with old and new friends alike, only to be capped off by some fabulous weather Sunday for the Vintage Show. Not a bad way to kick off summer! Whereas our first time at the show this past fall consisted of maybe grabbing everything we could (all essentials, we swear), this time we did more targeted shopping. CJ scored the perfect fitting trench coat for a price you couldn’t believe and Katherine picked up some really unique brooches. Wearing more street styled outfits is definitely something we’re both trying to do more often. We’ve said this before, but its kind of funny that dressing down is something we don’t do often enough! Katherine’s everyday go-to staples are a girly skirt or dress, so this graphic tee and risqué maxi skirt were a bit out of her comfort zone. On the other hand, although CJ usually opts for a collared shirt and tie, he’s dabbles in urban wear once in a while.
