Pumpkin spice season
Being an academic at heart, I’ve always loved this time of year. Glossy new textbooks, new stationary, and of course, a new wardrobe. It also seems that as soon as September rolls around, I’m immediately in that autumn mindset. Layering, deep colours, and rich textures. Something about fall has me smitten for classic cuts and patterns (and as an aside, also pumpkin-spice-everything!). These ankle editor pants are an instant fave in my wardrobe this season. Whenever people ask where we’re from, they’re always surprised that we had decided to move from Toronto to Ottawa. The usual questions? “You moved HERE? Why?!” “Don’t you think Ottawa is so boring?” “There’s nothing to do here, I can’t wait to leave.
