Pumpkin spice season

Being an academic at heart, I’ve always loved this time of year. Glossy new textbooks, new stationary, and of course, a new wardrobe. It also seems that as soon as September rolls around, I’m immediately in that autumn mindset. Layering, deep colours, and rich textures.

These ankle editor pants are an instant fave in my wardrobe this season. Being petite, the pleat and tapered ankle cut are super flattering and did wonders to lengthen my legs. The iconic Glen plaid will also be so much fun to play with!

From running to class, then to a coffee date with the hubs before jetting off to work, today I paired them with a modern and sexy moto womens jacket. But how amazing would they be with an oversized knit, or even turtleneck and blanket scarf? For a woman like me that’s always on the go and that wears so many different hats, having versatile pieces is such a necessity. I told you… totally my new pant obsession.

We’re working with Express yet again, but this time we’re representing this vibrant brand as Ottawa’s #ExpressPartners and Brand Ambassadors. We’re amongst some pretty incredible company, including star blogger, Brooklyn Blonde, and of course — Stephen Curry and Kate Upton. We couldn’t be more humbled and excited to see what Express brings us this fall and winter!

Always on point with your color combos, Kat! The Editor pant has been on my radar as well because of its tapered look. With the return to work around the corner, this is a classic silhouette that just does the trick of making a woman look like a BOSS!
