much ado about green
We spent the weekend in Toronto with our families, which was a nice suburban change from our downtown Ottawa apartment. It was great to see our families, and of course, we weren’t complaining about the home-cooked meals either!
Green is definitely this season’s hue du jour. Whether it’s emerald, forest, or pastel green, we’re seeing it all over the runways and on some very savvy street stylers.
Katherine couldn’t be more excited about all the fabulous pops of colour. Her wardrobe is full of florals and bright hues, so she’s all ready for spring. On the other hand, CJ’s an autumn man through and through, preferring earthy colours and neutrals. We have to give him credit though, he’s invested in some bright orange chinos, so he may be catching up!

Thanks for the love, Silvia! Funny enough, this is the lightest I’ve been in a really long time. Turns out that Ottawa winters aren’t very conducive to spending a lot of time outside 😛

Thanks so much Anna! The jacket is actually something that I’ve had in my closet for years, and was so glad to rediscover its potential 🙂 We’ve both been so obsessed with thrifting lately! I just noticed that CJ’s collared shirt is from Indochino, they make beautifully tailored pieces, I bought my guy friend some pieces from their online store for his birthday. Men’s clothes done right!

Seriously, it’s such an amazing idea! Fit is so important for everyone, but for men especially, a well-tailored piece makes all the difference. And they’re pretty reasonably priced, considering the items are literally made for you!
