opening night: Ottawa jazz festival
The Ottawa Jazz Festival is a week-long event where some jazz heavy hitters as well as Indie bands come and turn our city into a hub of culture and music. Thursday evening was the opening night, and we were given awesome VIP passes to watch in style, as The Heavy and Dr. John & The Nite Trippers performed on stage. It was pretty cool to be sipping on cold #OttawaAfterDark beers (yes, a beer named after a hashtag!) and canapΓ©s amongst serious jazz appreciators, decked out in feathered fedoras and tinted sunglasses. what to wear: an all white party
This Friday, we’ll be attending the Bash En Blanc, and we’re suited up in all-white-everything for the occasion. Last week we held a contest for free tickets to the white hot bash, and are pleased to announce that Laura is the winner! The event is not just a club, rather Ottawa’s upscale party of the summer, so we want to be sure to look the part. We’re both keeping it fresh with structured blazers that have some black contrast, to make our outfits really pop.
