Warm weather is here in Ottawa is in full flow and you know what that means, don’t cha? Patios, BBQs, Redblacks games, and most importantly summer fashion.

Now I used to be that guy who was all about defying the weather lady and rocking a full out suit, but recently I’ve been disenchanted with the idea. Mainly because I no longer comfortably fit into my old clothes due to the size I’ve put on, and running around the city between numerous jobs and meetings doesn’t leave much time to iron (sorry excuse, right?) That leaves me in need of a statement top while I taking on the world, and my Florist shirt fits the bill.

The brainchild of my good pal and Instagram famous Victor (@veeceecheng), VC Selections is a newly launched Toronto based menswear inspired clothing brand. I wish I took a picture of the packaging the shirt came in; it was wrapped in this coarse brown paper and bow-tied with thin rope. Opening the shirt in itself was an experience. Honestly I wouldn’t expect anything less from Victor, the guy is an artist.
