Le Château St. Laurent gets a new makeover

Yesterday the two of us had the chance to pay a visit to the newly-renovated Le Château location at St. Laurent Centre. Le Château, a Montreal-based company, manufactures about 35% of their merchandise in Canada, which is one of the many reasons why we’re big supporters of this brand.

What keeps us coming back season after season however, are the collections — spins on runway fashion for the chic working woman and suave man, and most recently, the fabulous, newly-madeover stores.

IMG_1002IMG_1032Le Château stores all across the country are quickly being updated with a fresh, European-inspired makeover, featuring marble flooring, chrome fixtures, and minimal decor. Walking into the store, its bright, open, and most importantly — easy to shop! Our favourite new additions of this chic, new facelift are the updated shoe section and dress boutique.

The footwear collection is expanded, and also features a few of my reliable faves. The tried-and-true Moda Reflex line is made with awesome memory foam cushioning, and designed with comfort at the forefront. I personally have a pair of wedges and pumps from this collection, and being a woman that runs from work, to class, to blogging events, not having to sacrifice sexy shoes for comfort is a huge win. The new location also has many new Luxe shoes, featuring genuine leather footwear made and designed in Italy and Brazil.

IMG_20150922_141636IMG_1022Le Château has put a lot of consideration into the shopping experience for formal wear. The dress boutique has a lovely, more secluded area, with dressing rooms outfitted with three-way-mirrors.

I love the thoughtfulness of this part of the store — formal accessories, glitzy footwear, and clutches are all within range of the fitting room, so that finding your head-to-toe look is just that much easier.

IMG_1018IMG_1019Our personal tour of the store also included some insight into the brand’s current collections. My current faves? Their Newsroom collection, featuring black and white windowpane designs, as seen on the Christian Dior and Derek Lam runways. And of course, everything seventies (I currently have my eye on this suede number!)

IMG_1028IMG_20150922_141713We’re certainly very impressed with the updated store. But don’t just take our word for it — have a peek for yourself!
