oM X LD West Part II: a gent’s POV
So I’m sure you guys have already checked out of our blogitorial where Katherine gives her take on the innovative holsters by Toronto-based brand, LD West. If you haven’t yet, do it up.
Right off the bat, I can’t get enough of my LD West holsters. So much so, that I wish I was the brain child behind the concept (not even kidding). Now it’s rare we do reviews here, but these are truly unique products that deserve a something a little different so I’m going to break down why every gent should have a pair.
Fit and feel
Though there’s a slight learning curve when arming yourself with the gun slinging-esque holsters, getting them on is easy. I got used to them pretty quickly and even sometimes forget that I’m rocking them. Exuding pure class, the guys at LD West sparred no detail when it comes to quality. The holsters made from vegan leather, which doesn’t retain odours, fade, or stain. Care free product? Sign me up.
Practicality
If you’re like me, and don’t like carrying anything in your pockets, LD west holsters are the answer. Your phone, and the sleek, branded wallet the holster comes with, fit snug so there’s never a risk of them falling out, but not too snug so that it’s hassle to pull them out.Β The holsters are a fashionable and practical solution for when you’re wearing a suit and don’t want to ruin a sleek look with bulging pockets.
Style-ability
Being so unique, these holsters are definitely conversation starters, and there’s no shortage of compliments when sporting these bad boys. Even the original packaging embodies the class and craftsmanship of the holsters. Equally at home in a more street-inspired look as with a suit, the holsters are versatile enough so you’ll get great use out of them.
If you wear tailored suits, the frame of the phone and wallet holder peek out just a bit, enough to glean curiosity and add detail to your outfit. Alternatively, if you’re aiming for a more subtle look, worn low with your jacket open, you can’t even tell the holsters are there. Welcome to LD West gentlemen, suiting will never be the same.

Mishka
But how does it actually look with the vest on though? I have my suits fitted and I do not want to trade bulging pockets for bulging chest/vest.
Any answer in picture? Much appreciated.

Hey Mishka, I wear my suits fitted as well. What I can say is that the holsters look best when your jacket is unbuttoned. The holsters are adjustable, so if you have them sitting low enough on your sides, they’ll comfortably fit underneath the blazer. If you’re one to button up your jacket all the way, then you would notice something underneath.
