hats on hats
We get heckled quite a bit from our friends over at Caffeine Dreams | Liquor Schemes (recently featured on Freshly Pressed!) for not dressing urban or “street” often enough. So we took their jabs to heart, and had fun with some graphic prints and denim. Graphics are everywhere right now, and is a simple and unique way to dress down an outfit. And when it comes to denim, you can never go wrong – it’s such a classic, timeless look. CJ has always been an avid fan of hats (you should see his impressive collection), and Katherine, thanks to his persistent prodding, is trying to experiment a bit more as well.
We spent the afternoon at The Sassy Beading Co., an eclectic shop in the market with jars and strings of beads covering every surface, wall to wall. You pick your beads and make your own unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry. There’s so much to choose from, it’s like a Bulk Barn for beads!

Oh, and regarding your hair comment: I literally just let it air dry and sometimes it works in my favour and sometimes it really doesn’t. Luck of the draw, but I can’t be bothered to put any serious effort in.

Thanks Zoe, you are so so sweet! Accessories are actually my weakness, its kind of dangerous really 😛 We were so lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Its so fun to DIY, but best part is that per bracelet, its only about $5!

I love the photos on this post! The two of you look great! Katherine, I love love love the body chain from Aldo. I always wondered how to wear one during the day. At first I loved it and thought it was part of the skirt but now that I realize it’s a separate chain I’m all the more in love, haha. CJ, you rock the hat mighty well my friend.

We’re so glad that you liked this post! I was so hesitant about the body chain as well, and was totally convinced that it would be that purchase that just sits, forever unworn 😛 CJ is quite pleased about the hat compliment – his hat stash seriously outnumbers both of our shoe collections!
