the Great Gatsby invades Ottawa!
On Wednesday night we attended the Great Gatsby Salon fundraiser, at the St Laurent Centre. If you’ve followed from our last post, we were asked to attend the event as their special guests and cook up a guest post for the STL blog. When we walked into the room, it was seriously like we had stepped out of a time machine, right into the Buchanan mansion. Gatsby fashion!
With The Great Gatsby being one of the biggest film releases of the year, it’s no wonder that 1920s-inspired fashion is everywhere! Ottawa is getting in on the action, with the St Laurent Centre hosting a Gatsby-themed fundraiser to support the Ottawa Cancer Foundation. So where do we come in? Well, it so happens that we were invited as their special guests! We were also generously given gift cards to shop for the occasion, and were asked to write a guest post on their blog!
