jazz fest: Ottawa After Dark
This was our first night at the Ottawa After Dark Series, and the Belleville Orchestra was performing on stage. The orchestra consisted of 7 musicians, who played wacky 1930s-inspired French tunes while the animated movie, The Triplets of Belleville played in the background. This was pretty cool in itself, as the film was well-known for its award winning soundtrack. And of course, after the show, we had to take a few snaps of our #OOTN (that’s outfit of the night, for you non-Instagrammers). what to wear: an all white party
This Friday, we’ll be attending the Bash En Blanc, and we’re suited up in all-white-everything for the occasion. Last week we held a contest for free tickets to the white hot bash, and are pleased to announce that Laura is the winner! The event is not just a club, rather Ottawa’s upscale party of the summer, so we want to be sure to look the part. We’re both keeping it fresh with structured blazers that have some black contrast, to make our outfits really pop.
