Dress to impress… Yourself?
A bit over a month ago, Alex Boone approached us to collaborate on a fashion photo shoot. We’ve had only positive experiences working with professional photographers since our blog baby was born — and Alex was no exception. While his forte is primarily candid street photography, his fashion photography could’ve fooled us! We had a few equipment malfunctions at first (picture a giant 10-foot flash umbrella being carried away by the wind), and a couple distractions (two firetrucks responding to an alarm in the building we were shooting in front of), but at the end of the evening we finished with two memory cards full of awesome photos. Ottawa bloggers unite for Target’s grand opening
On Tuesday, Target launched its first location in Ottawa at Billings Bridge Mall — and we there among the first to ring in the grand opening. On Monday morning, ourselves and a bunch of other local bloggers were invited to attend a private tour of the store. This was a pretty neat opportunity, as it allowed us to learn more about the company, and get an exclusive glimpse of what the store had to offer. Before the actual opening on Tuesday morning, we were invited back to the mall for a blogger breakfast, where we were also each given a generous gift card to spend at Target. These blogger events…
