Dare I say it? The holidays are upon us. Well perhaps I’m pressing the fast forward button, but in my calendar, once November rolls around, I’m very happily in the festive spirit. Living far from home, the holidays mean getting time off work to see my family, annual reunions with friends from university, and having an uninterrupted week of relaxation. Boobyball: Getting intergalactic for a cause
This Friday, we’re welcoming some alien activity in our city for a good cause. Boobyball, a huge, sold-out event held every year in Toronto, Calgary, and Winnipeg is landing in Ottawa for the first time! The event is ReThink Breast Cancer‘s signature gala, whose mission is to raise awareness and empower young people who are affected by, and concerned about breast cancer. This is truly a cause that is so close to our hearts, as we have friends and family who have been affected by breast cancer.
