Fall transition outfits
Is it just us, or did September just seem to fly by? Its been really unseasonably warm, but we’re definitely not complaining. We’re clinging onto every degree of warmth we can get until those infamous Ottawa winters come calling. With the weather being so mild, open-toes for the ladies and sockless looks for the gents are sticking around — but we’re pretty set that the season for flip flops, denim shorts, and crop tops is over. Dress to impress… Yourself?
A bit over a month ago, Alex Boone approached us to collaborate on a fashion photo shoot. We’ve had only positive experiences working with professional photographers since our blog baby was born — and Alex was no exception. While his forte is primarily candid street photography, his fashion photography could’ve fooled us! We had a few equipment malfunctions at first (picture a giant 10-foot flash umbrella being carried away by the wind), and a couple distractions (two firetrucks responding to an alarm in the building we were shooting in front of), but at the end of the evening we finished with two memory cards full of awesome photos.
