oM x LD West: Part One

Trust us on this one — you’ll be seeing a lot of LD West. By fusing necessity and fashion, this Toronto-based brand has created a truly unique product. Its not often that we see products that are really one-of-a-kind, meaning that you won’t be able to find anything else like it.

Made of top-grade vegan leather and inspired by necessity, these holsters are the brainchild solution to that annoying bulge your cell phone and wallet makes in your pocket. This is just part uno of a three-part “blogitorial”, featuring these incredible holsters.

It was a few months ago where we first connected with the three creators of the LD West holster. After speaking with them and getting a feel of the inspiration behind the brand, we weren’t surprised at all to learn that these gentlemen were seriously passionate about their product. Being so unique and well-crafted, the holsters speak for themselves. But it was after speaking to these guys and learning about their huge plans for LD West, that we knew we were getting into something big.

The holsters themselves carry your phone in one pouch, and sleek wallet in the other. They’re made in a variety of colours, and in several pouch sizes to fit almost every popular phone out there. Both CJ and I carry iPhones, and we found that the pouches were the perfect fit.

From a ladies perspective, these holsters are seriously badass. From a fashion standpoint, they singlehandedly turn my outfits up a notch — from my regular street wear, to street style.

To keep my feminine style that I usually gravitate towards, I paired my holster with a leather skirt and strappy heels. But throw on your holster with a pair of boyfriend jeans and chucks, or ripped shorts and crop top. The holster is such a unique accessory that your outfit is guaranteed to turn heads.

He’s seriously got some talent, and an amazing vision for all the work he does. With a baby girl on the way and a huge move to Toronto, this guy still manages to deliver spectacular photos.
