Fall transition outfits
Is it just us, or did September just seem to fly by? Its been really unseasonably warm, but we’re definitely not complaining. We’re clinging onto every degree of warmth we can get until those infamous Ottawa winters come calling.
With the weather being so mild, open-toes for the ladies and sockless looks for the gents are sticking around — but we’re pretty set that the season for flip flops, denim shorts, and crop tops is over.

Oh man. In Montreal it’s the same – it’s SO beautiful outside this past week! But that totally messed me up fashion-wise because I put away my summer shoes and according to my fashion sense, it’s time for autumn styles and colours. Plaid prints, burgundy, browns, etc…It’s too warm for tights and my fall booties, but too late for my sandals so I keep wearing the same shoes everyday. On top of that i’m still taking my bike downtown so I can’t wear anything too unpractical…WHAT A CRISIS lolll

The life of a blogger and/or fashionista — haha such a difficult life to lead! We’re both itching to break out the layers and heavy fabrics, but sweating in your fall gear isn’t really a good look. Fingers crossed for more seasonal weather soon though!

The weather has been warm eh? And I don’t even feel like we had a September. Oh well, I’m okay with it cooling down a bit π Love your transitional looks!

Thanks lovely! And it has indeed. Although Ottawa’s been SO beautiful the past few weeks, we are definitely craving some actual layering weather.
