a day at the museum (no Ben Stiller, though!)

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of spending the afternoon shooting with Amanda and Younes of Doublespace Photography. This was no ordinary shoot though – as this duo specializes in architecture photography, so it was really awesome to see how they combined the art of space and fashion in a photo. Between watching them work their magic, lots of laughs, and learning a bunch about photography, the day seriously just flew by!

Canadian Nature Museum

The photo shoot was at the Canadian Museum of Nature, in what’s called “The Lantern”, a four-story glass chamber on top of the main entrance to the museum. It was the perfect backdrop, and it was pretty neat to be overlooking some of the city. The four of us were actually shooting during open hours on Easter Sunday, so you can imagine how busy it got at times! Although we’re pretty used to people stopping to see what’s going on during our regular blog shoots, we suppose being in our Sunday best in the middle of the museum, drew a bit more curiosity than usual.
