So this was the scene yesterday morning in Ottawa. So much for spring, right? We had the intention of going out to shoot a St. Patty’s Day-inspired post, but with all the snow falling, we took the opportunity to enjoy (hopefully) the last snowfall of the season. March is that month where spring collections are already hitting stores, but the weather is still one season behind. What is a style blogger to do? bold prints: stripes and squares
Although spring means finally stashing away the winter boots and parkas, for us, it also means midterm season. On the way to the library for a marathon study session, we managed to snag some shots of our outfits of the day. The weather was a bit drab, so instead of donning pastels and bold colours, we both opted for bold prints. Stripes, polka dots, and geometric shapes are everywhere this season, which is a refreshing change from the florals that we usually associate with spring.
