so much for spring
So this was the scene yesterday morning in Ottawa. So much for spring, right? We had the intention of going out to shoot a St. Patty’s Day-inspired post, but with all the snow falling, we took the opportunity to enjoy (hopefully) the last snowfall of the season. March is that month where spring collections are already hitting stores, but the weather is still one season behind. What is a style blogger to do?
Something that you may not know about us, is that we enjoy our morning coffee (admittedly, maybe a little too much) so we headed down to our local Timothy’s, with the Nikon tagging along as our third wheel.
This gave us a little chuckle when we stumbled upon it. Anyone that knows Ottawa, can totally identify with the fact that it is one of the coldest capitals in the world, but also that winter seems to last forever. Maybe we were a little bit too optimistic with the open-toed shoes and collared shirts, sans jacket. Irrationally optimistic? Definitely us.

hahaha… wow. yeah, it’s like that here, too. Gaia is one fickle dame. somehow you both managed to look chic despite the swirling snow. love the pie chart, by the way! π

Glad to know we’re the only ones caught in the middle of two seasons haha. And thanks again for the kind words, you’re so sweet!

Thanks Anna, we do try our hardest π Do you live in Canada as well? You layer like a pro, and that’s totally something you need to master here as a style blogger!

Isn’t it?! We saw the photo and had a good laugh… especially since it was snowing outside, and just the week before we had posted “spring has sprung” π

Hopefully! We just packed away our winter EVERYTHING last night… but with our luck we’ll probably have another sub zero week π
