spring ’13 Ottawa vintage show recap
We felt a bit spoiled this past weekend, as we bounced from brunches to hangouts with old and new friends alike, only to be capped off by some fabulous weather Sunday for the Vintage Show. Not a bad way to kick off summer! Whereas our first time at the show this past fall consisted of maybe grabbing everything we could (all essentials, we swear), this time we did more targeted shopping. CJ scored the perfect fitting trench coat for a price you couldn’t believe and Katherine picked up some really unique brooches. This spring, the Ottawa Vintage Clothing Show will be on April 28th in the Convention Centre from 10am-5pm. We went to our first vintage hunt back in November, and were seriously not expecting how awesome the event would be! Vintage trinkets and clothes spanned wall to wall, and there were countless booths with vendors displaying their best pieces. There’s seriously something for everyone here! We had some pretty good finds back in the fall, but if we had been a bit more prepared, we definitely would’ve come out with an even better haul.
