Hello readers! Welcome to ourMode, a his and her style blog. His name is CJ and her name is Katherine, and we’re a university couple studying in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. Whether you’re a fashion guru, or you’re looking for some style inspiration, or even if you just appreciate a good blog, we hope you love ourMode as much as we already do!

For the launch of ourMode, we wanted to do something special. At the end of August, we had an amazing opportunity to model in a vintage-themed photo shoot. It was organized by the Ottawa Photography MeetUp Group, and we spent a few hours at the Central Experimental farm, which served as a gorgeous backdrop and a nice little get-away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ottawa. Being somewhat vintage collectors, we had so much fun putting together our outfits (although we won’t be sharing photos of how hectic our apartment was throughout the whole process)! This was a brand new experience for the both of us, and while we have both modeled before, we were so humbled by all those who came out. ourMode has been in the works for a while, and now that our blog is up and running, the next batch of photos of our outfits will reflect the current season.
