    With summer now officially over and fall around the bend, that means getting back to you know what — routines. Between my two restaurant jobs, hitting the gym, and jetting off to business meetings around the city, life can get pretty crazy to say the least.     Pumpkin spice season

    Being an academic at heart, I’ve always loved this time of year. Glossy new textbooks, new stationary, and of course, a new wardrobe. It also seems that as soon as September rolls around, I’m immediately in that autumn mindset. Layering, deep colours, and rich textures. Something about fall has me smitten for classic cuts and patterns (and as an aside, also pumpkin-spice-everything!). These ankle editor pants are an instant fave in my wardrobe this season.
