Gents, it’s time to start thinking about the holidays. Before you know it, November will be over in the blink of an eye, and December will be at our doorstep.
Like Kath said in her last post, this means family, social gatherings, and of course, great holiday parties. So, this is the time to ditch the 9-5 go-to’s, and pull out all the stops.
This velvet blazer instantly gave me the feels when I put it on, and it’s a great look for some of your more upscale affairs (New Years Eve, anyone?). Sporting peak lapels, this sport coat has some serious flair fit enough for James Bond himself. Fit wise, this number should require extra no tailoring, as Express gave it it’s popular slim ‘Photographer’ look. Ready to wear same day? Count me in.
When asked to define my style, I usually go with “classic gentleman-esque, with a hint of modern ruggedness.” Going with a pair of black or grey dress pants would have definitely worked, but I though I’d try something a little more edgy and I believe it works!
These joggers are brimming with swagger, and when paired with the unlikeliest of combinations like a velvet blazer, really make things interesting. Being such a versatile piece though, these utility pants would look easily right at home with a pull over and high tops. Underneath the blazer, a simple black dotted shirt was all that was needed to tie everything together.
Let this be your most dapper holiday season yet gents; can’t wait to see who’s going to pull out all the stops. Tag @expressrunway and use #GiveStyle for your chance to featured on their socials!
